Running to the finish- 16:02 – 3 hours exactly! We left the carpark 7 minutes later.

Haunted lakes

Legend has it that King Arthur was taken away by the Ladies of the Lake here upon his death, and that his knights lie sleeping in a cave hereabouts, awaiting the horn call to rouse them once more to the defence of the realm. We looked for but did not see the knights. Evidence of faery presence, however, was abundant.
